Zoom Whitening

Future Mrs. Wilson, on October 28, 2014 at 11:20 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

For those considering doing the Zoom whitening before the wedding, I HIGHLY recommend it!! I just got it done yesterday and I am thrilled with the outcome! Unfortunately it does cause a lot of sensitivity which they say will only last 1-3 days (here's hoping!) but totally worth it if you ask me. I don't have any before/after pics but I definitely can see a difference. I've never been so happy with my teeth, lol. My dentist offered an amazing deal (only $99...originally $400) so I had to do it. So if you're on the fence about doing it I say go for it! I'll be doing a touch up with my dentist's whitening strips (stronger/more bleach than store bought) right before the wedding. I'm so happy I'll have a brighter smile for our wedding day!

I don't know how good this zoom whitening procedure is, but for anyone looking for a more affordable fix, I would highly recommend using Crest White Strips about once per month. I have been using them for years and have had very good results. I used them the day before the wedding and it did the job (although I did experience some sensitivity).

Was the $99 a special offer only your dentist was offering? I'd totally be willing to try it for $99, but $400...not so much. Sounds like you got a steal!

Laser bleaching was the best decision I've ever made regarding my teeth. It was sooooooooo worth it.

I tried ZOOM while on a Disney Cruise (best cruise EVER!). I liked the results and price was discounted as well!

@ Mrs. K-my dentist was offering that deal for the month of October. I'm sure most other dentists, who do the procedure, probably offer some sort of deal throughout the year, but I know that generally speaking it does run $400-500, so I definitely had to jump on the $99 deal!

I haven't looked into whitening yet, but I definitely want to before the wedding. FH surprised me and told me he wants to get his teeth whitened!

Cool. I was curious about it because I already have sensitive teeth. My dentist said to just try mouthwash with fluoride if I'm afraid of whitening strips.

My teeth aren't normally sensitive but for the first day after the whitening they were extremely sensitive (to the point of pain!), but I've been using the Sensodyne toothpaste which I think is helping a bit.
