Did anyone use Zola for your registry? What was your experience like?

We did not as we felt Zola was to expensive for our guests price point and nothing on there really met our style.

Sorry I could not give you a positive outlook on it but its something I thought you should know.

Yes! I love Zola. I have both Zola items and items from other sites. People over 50 had a lot of trouble understanding how to mark their gift as purchased which got slightly annoying (mostly because they wouldn't even try) but their customer service is so awesome that it would take one to two emails from me to correct the site.

I will say more than a few of our items have been back ordered and that prompted me to convert some things to Zola credits.

I would not recommend holding the shipping since you could lose your item to back order or discontinue.

Otherwise I found it was a wonderful way to register at a whole bunch of places and keep it in one spot. You also don't have to create registries elsewhere, you can just put any link to any item off any website on Zola.

Lastly they do price matching which is fantastic.

I love it! It has been super simple for our guests, my 85 year old aunt was able to figure it out! I've added things from different stores and even little personal things that we love from Amazon like Peetes coffee! As an inexpensive but fun gift! Their customer service is awesome too!!

We used Zola and regret doing so. I think they are good for a honeymoon registry and if you want to buy Zola items. However, if you want to use them as a universal registry, it's clunky and can be very confusing to your guests. Also, for items from other stores, it links to the item but not to your registry with that item. That means that if someone buys it, it won't show up as bought on that store's website and you won't be able to use the registry listing as a receipt (if there's a problem and the guest doesn't give you a receipt, you're out of luck). We didn't really like the items on Zola because they are typically more expensive than at other stores. We wish we'd just kept our other two registries separate and then used Zola as a honeymoon registry only.

However, if you don't really have other registries - just random items from other stores or mostly Zola items, then it's pretty good. I agree that their customer service was good - it's just clunky to link with other registries
