Zip code on invite?

I was flipping through the binder that my venue gave me and apparently you don't include the zip code on the invitation? I've never noticed on invites that I've received if it's there or not. I just assumed it's part of the address and should be there but no? I swear all these little rules are going to drive me crazy by the end of this. 😂

I think it's because people won't be mailing anything there, which is when the zip is useful

I just checked our invite and their is no zip code for the ceremony site nor the reception!

Nope, not needed. You don't need a zip code for directions.

Ah, alright. I was just thinking about people putting the address into GPS but honestly the zip isn't necessary for that now that I think about it. I have a tendency to overthink things. Thanks, y'all!

This binder seems very helpful! I wish my venue would have provided so much info. I learned from here you do not include zip on the invite.

When I was designing invitations, I was freaking out about that too. Come to find out, you don't need them on the invites! It's definitely a learning process

On my invites I only put the name of the venue and city and state. No street address or zip code.

Yeah, I didn't include the zip code on mine.....just isn't necessary for inputting into a GPS.
