Zazzle? Minted? Wedding Paper Divas? DIY?

I need to make a decision on invitation ASAP! I'm really indecisive. And they all seem expensive and the same to me. I wouldn't mind DIY but at the risk of it not coming out right and having to spend more money to order some I'm a bit skeptical. Suggestions? Where did you ladies order invites from? ...

I got my Save the Dates from Wedding Paper Divas and my invite from Zazzle. WPDs was twice the cost, but honestly the quality was better on the Zazzle invites. Customer service was also excellent with Zazzle. I made a mistake on my invite that was really hard to see on the online version, so they reprinted my invites for free. Also, check out "printable wedding invite templates" on Etsy if you don't like the options on Zazzle or Vistaprint.

All of the websites tend to have ongoing sales if you sign up for their emails. Minted is the most expensive and 20% off is the best I have ever seen.

I used Vista print. It was the cheapest option. Still waiting for the results though!

We used Carlson Craft. Our wedding planner is a wholesaler, so we got a good price. Even without her discount, our design was cheaper than anything I saw at WPD or Minted. I also considered an affordable design at Vistaprint.

Just ordered my invites, plus RSVP cards (standard envelopes included). Since I upgraded the paper type it came out to about $150. The cards were 50% off.

Forgot to mention I ordered from

Zazzle. I really fell in love with a design and couldn't find it anywhere else.

We used Wedding Paper Divas. They turned out beautiful and we've gotten a bunch of comments on them!

I'm a graphic designer so I am picky. But I'm also on a budget, so instead of RSVP cards, belly bands, directions inserts etc. etc. I'm just doing one printed piece of paper. Guests will RSVP online and all our info will be on our website.

I suggest you order samples from each company you're considering. There's a big difference in quality. Perhaps you don't really care about it, but if you've got some time it's worth waiting to get the samples in the mail.

Also sign up for Gilt City emails -- oftentimes there's a minted or wedding paper divas sale where you can get 50% off. Check out Moo.com too if you're looking for something simple like a 5x7 invitation card. You can then get envelopes at Paper Source or anywhere really.

I ordered a sample pack from minted. They are nice, but super expensive IMO. I am looking at Vistaprint ATM as they are less expensive.

If you have access to print them yourself, @Melissa than yes it's not that expensive. I'm having a smaller wedding (100) so I won't need that many. So maybe that's why I don't mind to spend a few extra on the card pocket that I really want.

I love the quality, already received my sample.

Zazzle! I'm obsessed. I bought some clip art off Etsy and designed my own invites and rsvps. Got them with a 75% off code a couple weeks ago and they're already here. Tonight I went in and designed most of our signs (welcome, gifts and cards, guest book, hashtag, favors, bathroom signs) and got them all for under $40 total with the sale. The 32"x38" welcome sign is usually $34!

There's a site called Beautiful Wedding Announcements that are WONDERFULLY priced... The only drawback is that you can't preview it online... They don't have that option yet. But when I requested their sample packet, it came with printed examples and the quality of the different papers... It was pretty legit. We're gonna use them. Check them out.

I'm thinking about ordering from Zazzle for my invites since they are having a good sale. Would you recommend upgrading paper?? I don't have time to order samples at this point.

Gilt City is doing a promo for 50% off Wedding Paper Divas. There was also a coupon code for 20% off so I got a credit for $200 at WPD and only paid $80.

Cards & Pockets has a lot of free invitation templates on their site that you can just edit and download. Then you can have them print them or buy paper to print them yourself. Their supplies are really affordable if you want to DIY them.

I used Minted for invitations and bought them during the semi-annual 20% off foil pressed sale. 105 invites & RSVP cards ended up being $528. I got my order about an week and a half later (because of Thanksgiving). I am very pleased with everything. I can't wait to send them out and I'm planning on using Minted for other things in the future.
