Zazzle Invitations?

Rose, on September 8, 2016 at 2:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 18

Has anyone ever used Zazzle for invites or STD's? The only thing I don't like is that they don't have an option for purchasing inner and outer envelopes, the invites just come with a standard gummed envelope. Do we need inner and outer? If I'm inviting someone and a plus one, how do you address the envelope if there is no inner envelope?

I didn't use an inner envelope, just didn't really see the need for it or cared about the idea of it.

If you know the name of the guest and they aren't married you could write it like this:

"Mr. John Smith & Ms. Sally Jones"

If you don't, you can write it like this:

    "Mr. John Smith & Guest"

I bought mine from Zazzle and loved them! I didn't do an inner envelope, it was fine.

I used Zazzle. I got my outer envelopes from Paper Source.

The only down side with the invitations was that the design that we chose didn't come as an entire suite with invites, response cards, and accommodation cards so I had to piece it all together with coordinating designs. It came out fine, but it was pretty time consuming.

I bought my STD postcards from Zazzle.com and they were fantastic! I didn't find an invite set I liked from them but did buy those from Ann's Bridal Bargains and had a great experience with them. Ann's comes with free inner and outer envelopes and they usually have a coupon code for at least 25% off. Just food for thought.

I used zazzle and they were great. The costumer service was awesome too. I messed up the date on my STDs (I put 9/21). It was 100% my fault. I contacted them and they refunded me the cost without making me return them.

I've used them for other things and their quality was terrible. Never again.

I used Zazzle.com and loved the way my invitations came out. I didn't use an inner envelope. I just addressed the invite to the exact people who were invited.

I used zazzle for my table numbers/STDs/invitations/rsvps. All of them came out wonderful. The quality was amazing. I didn't use outer envelopes. I addressed mine the way PP's have stated.

Thanks guys! FMIL is insisting that we have outer envelopes, and we got a quote for some from a different company and it would be an extra $200. She's also insisting that she pay for them, but I think I'll try and talk her out of outer/inner envelopes and just do the one!

I used Zazzle and they were excellent! Invites arrived quick and in great condition. I got a Groupon for like 70% off - 110 invitations for $45! We didn't double up on envelopes or have an RSVP card, so they were perfect for us.

I have no experience with zazzle, but if your FMIL really wants inner and outer envelopes you could always buy outer envelopes separately. I just got a box of 100 white self sticking ones for our save the dates off Amazon for about $8.

I did my invites through zazzle and loved them! No inner envelope and it was totally fine. I also got some customized totes through them. One was printed upside down, and they were very quick to send a replacement without making me return the messed up one. Both experiences were great, plus they always have good promo codes to bring costs down!

You can always purchase an envelope one size larger to make an outer envelope if you feel you need it. Many couples are opting to nix the inner/outer thing and just do single envelopes. Address format for this would be:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith and Family

John, Cindy, Marcus, Mary and Jared

    1234 Street Road

    Anytown, CO 12345

    OR:

    The Smith Family

John, Cindy, Marcus, Mary and Jared

    1234 Street Road

    Anytown, CO 12345
