yummi candles? clear cup tealights?

future mrs hall, on April 13, 2015 at 5:41 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7

I've seen a few girls post on here about them so I thought I would give them a shot. I had purchased regular tealights elsewhere, but the metal cup made them look gross, I tried taking them out of the cup, but then the wick wont stay in in my holders. anyway, I ordered some clear cup tealights from yummi candles about 3 weeks ago, got a message that they were delivered about a week and a half ago, so I went outside to check my porch where they said they were delivered (I thought it was weird that no one knocked because I have been ordering A LOT of stuff over the last year and my ups guy always knocks. so I call customer service and its a big fiasco, they assure me that they will send them out again right away. I confirm my address repeatedly, today I get a message that they were delivered again. nope. I tried to call, but of course their customer service closes at like noon my time so by the time they were "delivered" there was no one to talk to about it. continued...

I guess that was just a bit of a rant, but I was wondering if

A: any of you had any issues with them

(I cant imagine ups being at fault because I've literally never had a problem with any other packages over the last year, that goes for dhl, fedex, usps, etc. as well)

B: if anyone knows of a good place to buy some clear cup tealights in person. I want white one, not slightly off white vanilla ones, and they have to have the clear cup.

Wow, mine came no problem and it was a BIG box, very heavy, and still wasn't an issue. Maybe call UPS?

I didn't have any issues. Call ups just in case. Maybe it is a screw up with them

Did they give you a tracking number? I just ordered from them and I got an email with fedex tracking info for my order. With the tracking info you can follow up with the shipper to figure out what happened.

They did give me a tracking number, which just says it was delivered to my city, az- porch.

I called ups, but they said I'd have to have the company handle it, that's when I contacted them and they resent it. but it was again delivered to my city, az - porch, so I suppose I will call ups again, but they couldn't do anything last time, so I guess I just need to get a refund and find somewhere to buy them, maybe save-on-crafts?

it's just blowing my mind because I literally have never had this problem except twice now with this company. my delivery guys know me, I order a lot of stuff, if I'm not home, they actually have my cell number and call me. that's why I don't think its a ups problem, but maybe I'm just the unlucky one. hahah

eta: as far as customer service though, when I called them, they said theyd email me. then never did. I called back to make sure they had my email and a girl told me everyone was on the phone and they will call me back, they never did. then I finally called again the day it was supposed to reship and the girl sounded confused, but then assured me they were about to ship and then actually emailed me. so I did send an email back to that girl to see whats up, but I've basically given up on getting them in time from them. I just hope I can get a refund. I actually just checked save-on-crafts and they have the same candles on sale for $8, so that's a positive, that's less than half of what I paid from yummi. as long as I can get a refund, I save a few bucks in the end.
