Who is in your wedding party? Your best friend? Your sister or cousin? Do you have any forced members? How about any guys? How did you decide? And how are you asking them?! There are so many new wedding trends involving wedding parties, I want to know all about yours!

My Matron of Honor is my best friend of 19 years.

My Maid of Honor is my best friend from college/roommate/sorority sister.
My bridesmaids are my 2 sister-in-laws, another sorority sister, cousin, and my first friend in college.
Each of them is near and dear to my heart, and I couldn’t imagine my day without them! I sent all of them a card with a note that ended in “I can’t tie the knot without you” and placed a knot bracelet with their initial inside!

We have 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer and 2 "special attendants"!

My bridesmaids are: my twin sister (and MOH), my cousin, a sorority sister, and two friends from high school; His groomsmen are all fraternity brothers; the flower girl is his niece, the ring bearer is my nephew and the two special attendants are his 2 nephews (we wanted to include them too, but since there is only one ring pillow to carry, they'll be carrying a sign!)

My side we’re having my best friend, an old Favorite coworker (maybe not now, she hasn’t responded to the dress) FH sister, and my sister. His side is his brother, his grandfather and my brother. I’m somewhat forcing my sister, she’s gay and hates dresses but loves me so she’s wearing one and then changing after photos. My little brother (17) doesn’t really want to but is because again, he loves me.😂

My bridesmaids are my sister, my FH two sisters, and my two best friends that I’ve had for over ten years. The groomsmen are my FH two high school best friends, his cousin, another close friend and my brother. It was definitely tough because Im not super close to his sisters and wanted some other friends in my party. But family is important and I didn’t want a huge bridal party. I asked my bridesmaids with an ask box i found on etsy with a succulent, candle and matches in it. My FH asked by giving the guys their favorite type of liquor and the label asked if they would be his groomsmen.

Ours is a wedding of only 4. The two of us and 2 best men. (Plus officiant) It was an easy choice for us, I picked my brother and she picked a cousin. These two people are pretty much the only people in our families that we like. We asked them via text. Cause, we don't give a crap about having "cute stories" or doing what is traditional.

My wedding party is my older sister as my matron, two of my very good friends and FH’s younger sister. My FH has his buddy since they were kids as his best man and my three brothers. I made little boxes for them with pictures, goodies and a little poem asking them to be my bridesmaids.

Your bridal party should be made up of those who are closest to you. And you should never feel obligated to include anyone. If you are not particularly close with that one cousin, I would not include her.

I have too many friends, and my fiance has only a few, so picking was so hard! We originally said 5 on each side and that was it. I have 2 older brothers and considered asking them to stand up with me, but we decided to ask one to officiate the wedding, and the other to be an usher.

    MOH #1: college best friend

MOH#2: college best friend/ sorority little

    BM#1: sister in law

    BM#2: cousin

    BM#3: best friend

I was picking the people who were going to read at our wedding, then my mom told me I had to have my brother's fiance in the wedding - who I am not close to. So we compromised and I asked her to be a reader. But that left one of my other best friends with no role, so I added her as my BM#6. Smiley smile

My wedding party is my best friend (MOH), a friend/old coworker, and my brothers girlfriend (they have been together for 3 years and they live together, neither one of them wants to get married). My flower girls are my niece and one of my friends daughters. The ring bearer is a family friends son.

I picked my 2 besties as Matron of honor. My cousin and his sister as bridesmaids. One sister was upset I didn't choose her but I wanted a small wedding.
