I might be the unpopular opinion but I'd definitely be annoyed, if she asked your opinion I'd probably politely say uhh it's a bit close to a wedding dress could you something find something colorful. I just don't understand what goes through people's heads!

I don’t think anyone would mix her up as the bride BUT I do agree it’s kind of bridal and kind of flashy too

I wouldn’t try to worry too much about it. At the end of the day its your wedding, your the bride. Everyone would know your the bride. Focus on yourself. And not to be mean 🙈, no one will care what she is wearing 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think it might be because it’s a white background that it might be giving you that vibe. I personally I’m going to be totally honest and just say that I think it looks cheap, tacky, and I think you have nothing to worry about if she wears that. Lol, I don’t think it’s bridal enough for you to say something though, just because of the fact that you could risk damaging the friendship and who wants to deal with something like that right before their wedding.

Its not bridal but for sure that is going to be one flashy dress. Maybe even a party dress that you the bride can potentially wear for the reception but not as a guest. Kinda sad. I would be annoyed because no one should be more flashy than the hosts who should have the spotlight. Once for my daughters first birthday my SIL wore a super sparkly flashy dress because my daughters theme was Mermaid under the sea. I was really annoyed Because even though my daughters outfit was really cute & stood out, my SIL dress stood out even moree. If anyone were to wear a flashy dress it should have been me, not her. I could only imagine feeling upset like that on my wedding day. I think u should say something to ur friend.

Well truthfully you can't control what your guests wear. Yes the color is white which a person should not wear to a wedding but honestly that looks far from a bride's dress to me. As Michelle said above at best it would look like the reception dress but if anything I would mistake her for a bridesmaid if anything. Like someone said if she asks your opinion about it then maybe just say that traditionally only the bride should wear white at the wedding. But realistically you can't tell her what to buy her how to spend her money. At the end of the day no one's going to notice her regardless of what she wears. It is you and your fiance's day and the spotlight will be on you so I wouldn't worry about that.

I'm with DJ Tanner. The dress is not impressive at all and if she wants to wear something like that to a wedding, I"m afraid it will say more about her than out stage you. You're going to look fabulous and be the center of attention. Unfortunately, you can't control what people wear unless they're in your bridal party. If she wants to wear that, then so be it. You're going to be the star of the day no matter what.

I agree with Dj Tanner! I really don't think you have anything to worry about. You'll outshine everyone that day, no matter what they wear!

I personally think the dress nice, but I wouldn’t wear it to a wedding. Not because it’s too flashy because it’s not lol it’s a just a sequin dress people calm down lol. I wouldn’t wear it to a wedding because it’s too low cut. But I don’t think it’s bridal looking nor do I think you have anything to worry about.

I just see a silver sequin dress. If your wedding is extremely formal I think it’s fine but if your wedding is more casual or even semi formal I would tell her it doesn’t really match the formality of the wedding so she might feel uncomfortable if others aren’t in gowns.

I completely agree, it is way too close to a bridal dress. I would just ask her nicely to look for something else.

Yikes that is a little bridal. Did she ask your opinion on it or just tell you she’s wearing it..? If she asked your opinion I think it’s definitely fine to tell her it’s a little too bridal.

It’s a little bridal as in I would wear it as an alternative wedding dress. Beside imo it’s a little hoochie and more of look at me. But you can’t tell someone what to wear to your wedding unless they’re you’re bridesmaid.

I don't see it as "bridal," just extremely attention-seeking unless the wedding is one where floor-length sequined gowns are going to be the norm. If someone wore that to any wedding I've been to, they'd be getting lots of side-eye. With that neckline and the sequins, I'm thinking pretty much everyone will notice her, but not in a good way and there will be no confusing her with the bride!

Is this person usually so over-the-top in her attire choices?

I'd be more upset about a probable wardrobe malfunction than the color. Normally I'd say to drop it, but since she asked you your opinion, I'd definitely say something.

I don't think so. It's silver so pretty obviously not bridal.
