I swear, college football games are even more fun than NFL! I am University of Iowa alumni, so I always make sure to go to several Hawkeyes home games and tailgate!! 🖤💛

We fell in love because we both adore the same teams.
The same teams that are currently ripping our hearts out, stomping on them, burning them, and then saying to us, "we love you, too".
If we miss the playoffs because we can't beat the *CENSORED* Marlins...
We themed our entire wedding around the Phillies:
Our VOWS referenced our teams. (And, get this, the night before the wedding? THEY LOST TO THE MARLINS 19-11. The day we met? They lost to the Marlins. GUESS WHAT THEY DID TODAY? I literally went into the bedroom and cried yesterday. The Eagles lost *and* the Phils lost a doubleheader and on top of the rest of the world, I just... couldn't deal.)
Our invitations were Phillies themed, our officiant made a big deal out of how much we loved the Phillies (we are the only two Phillies fans he knows, and we got married to each other), I read off two important dates in my vows (WS win and SB win), DH referenced how I was the first person he met who loved... and hated... the same team he did.
...Our apartment is decorated in Phillies and Eagles paraphernalia.
We have matching shirts from *before we met*.
I went on a rant about the other thread and a certain football team from Texas, and all DH could say at the end was, "I love you."
We, um, might be a little hardcore.
I'd say help, but, we have a text thread with our dads that is almost exclusively about our teams and ... I really love that.

I’m seeing a lot of Bears rivalries and Packers rivalries.... but no Bears/Packers couples. I wonder if that rivalry bitterness just runs too deep 😂😂
