My cousin had her wedding on a yacht in the San Francisco bay and it was awesome! You know I'm not fancy because I had to look up how to spell yacht lol!

Nuts! This is a really cool venue. The outside is romantic and the castle does look cool (including the hotel sign).

Haunted and historic?! YES. How exciting. And perfect it's a hotel so guests can stay the night if they dare... (muah ha ha).

My best friend was actually married at our local zoo. It was inexpensive, surprisingly beautiful,

A zoo WOULD be fun and what a unique location. I'm not really into wedding favors but animal crackers would be too cute.

At one point, we looked into the aquarium, but they were strict on their rules (noise level and lighting) because of the fish. We also looked at a local ski mountain as it offered scenic rides to the top of the mountian during cocktail hour for our guest. That ended up being too expensive though after calculating in the open bar. We decided to go with a castle/mansion which I absolutely love Smiley smile

Mines a vintage house turned venue! It would super cool to be in a tree house, underwater or at a haunted place! Also a castle would be AWESOME

Love this look too! Beautiful gardens for photos and a cool castle look (a Tudor mansion style?).

Aw man, cocktail hour and a ride on a ski lift would have been incredible. THAT's crazy unique. Maybe for a future vow renewal? Smiley winking

Really?! Which one? Post a pic if you can. Any fun decor ideas, or will you let the venue do the WOWing?

This is in Arizona? It almost has more of a southern charm to it. I never would have guessed. Thanks for sharing!

The church I grew up in is very modern and architecturally stunning, and since the sanctuary is glass and is surrounded by trees, it's kind of perfect. We're doing both the ceremony and reception there.

The Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans!! The main stuff will be anchors, kind of nautical theme because my fiancé is a diver. The water is a big part of our relationship.

That’s interesting. We don’t have many restrictions for our Aquarium weddding, other than no constant direct light into the exhibits, which is understandable and I wouldn’t see why we would have that anyway, and watch the bass.

That's what I love about it! I'm from Michigan so I love greenery and woodsy and unfortunately our woods wedding was just too hard and expensive so this one is like a backyard wedding with romance, some vintage feels and we can use greenery and wood to make it feel like everything we want!
