After months (over a year actually) of wedding planning, calling vendors, reviewing contracts, worrying about everything under the sun - I am really starting to get excited about the upcoming wedding!
I think it has a lot to do with so much FUN stuff is finally coming up - for months, it has been planning, costs, budgets, etc. It also helps that so much of the wedding is planned.
On Friday we are finally sending out the invitations EEK!
On Saturday, I am having my bachelorette party - I have NO idea what it is (none of my Bridesmaids do either, as my MOH is planning everything and keeping it a surprise). Everyone just knows to be at my place at x time, and what to wear. I'm so super excited - I have known my MOH for pretty much my entire life (friends not sisters) and she has NEVER kept a secret on anything. I haven't even tried to get it out of her (which is very unlike me, bc I always try to find out secrets, but I love that she's been holding strong LOL.
The week after our photographer, us & our DOC is doing a tour of the venue, and selecting all the photos spots. Our parents are also meeting for the first time that week - as my FIL were kind enough to invite my parents & us out to dinner.
My bridal shower is at the end of the month. I know the time & place, but my MOH is handling everything.
I have already picked out & order 2x gifts for my MOH for hosting everything - and I know that she will love them, I checked with her wife.
Also, a few days ago my FH best man reached out to him. He is starting a new job in August, and isn't able to get off for his bachelor party (it was away), but he wanted to do something really nice. So he purchased tix for me, FH, him & his wife to see Jerry Seinfeld in September, and is treating us to dinner and paying for the hotel rooms.
Is anyone else looking forward to August?
