Yahaira Shapewear

Tricia, on August 28, 2018 at 10:47 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

So, has anyone tried Yahaira shapewear, and do you have an honest review of it? I am intrigued by it...especially because of the non-butt flattening aspect AND the fact that it has the non-slip grippage at the top!! PLEASE comment away!!!!! Other suggestions welcome - oh, plus size suggestions needed!! - need to be able to wear a high waisted shapewear item with no bra to hold it up (cups built in to dress) so it needs to be like the jaws of life that won't slip!! Smiley smile

I have a pair of Spanx Oncore High-waisted right now, but I am not happy - they have no non-slip stripping in the top, and YES, they slip on an hourglass shape (bigger hourglass lol) there is nothing to hold it up at the top! I have the right size, but where my ribcage starts to go out, makes them start to roll down Smiley sad HELP!

Hi Tricia! I have not tried Yahaira however they seem to get great reviews online and have tons of style& fit options, like you mentioned.

I know David's Bridal has shape wear and plus size options, too, as do department stores like JC Pennys, Kohls, Macy's, Dillards, etc.

What is your dress like? Have you consulted with your fittings and alterations specialist or the store where you bought your dress? They may also have some good recommendations for fitted shape wear given the style of your dress. Smiley smile

I ordered the yahaira shapewear and I was so scared because I could find any real reviews but I love it! I ordered medium because that is what their size chart suggests and it is snug but my booty looks great! It stays put...I absolutely do not regret buying it and I am sure I will use it for other dresses but it is perfect with my wedding dress. My dress is form fitting and I look smooth all over! Worth ever penny!!!

I brought the yahira butt no 7 and I have to say I’m disappointed. They promise non slip grippage but thats only because you have to attach it to your bra using the adjustable bands the shaper has. If you don’t attach it to your bra it rolls which I find defeats the purpose of using it under a strapless dress with a built in bra. The shaper does smooth you out and gives you the butt lift but it was a deal breaker for me.

This may be a late post, but maybe it helps someone. I tried Yahaira for my wedding, and Loved it UNTIL I started moving around in it. The top started to roll down, which was so annoying during the day. Highly disappointed to have paid what I paid, for a mediocre shapewear. I think the reason you see so many good reviews is because Yahaira Shapewear combs through reviews before posting. My honest review was never posted anywhere. I gave it 2.5 stars, because it does smooth, but it also rolls, unless like Jenna mentioned above, you connect it to your bra.

I am a very unhappy customer of yahaira shspe wear. I got happy butt #7 and even though i strapped the straps to my bra, it somehow cant rolling down. I did write a comment on fb under their page and sure enough they deleted my comment twice! They did inbox me and try to get me to pay to get more attachments to it. Which i already paid almost 100 dollars. If i would have known i would have NEVER spent so much on such fake advertisement. Lesson learned
