Wrong to not send invite?

My fiance's brother and his girlfriend were both invited to our wedding. He is currently deployed overseas and he broke up with said girlfriend. I sent her a save the date, but since I have no connection to her without him, am I still obligated to invite her?

I don't think so. I bet she would feel awkward and uncomfortable coming anyway. I wouldn't invite her myself.

I don't think you should invite her unless you are friends with her separately of her dating your brother. If you aren't, she definitely would not expect to be invited after they've broken up.

I don't think there is an obligation to invite her. I think it would be more awkward if you did invite her.. imagine if she shows up and the drama that could be caused!

Our best man was dating a girl and we addressed the save the date to both but they split up. We didn't invite her to the wedding because her only connection to us was him as well.
