Wrong app?

So i really like this app mainly bc i get to see different opinions on all kinds of topics but i notice everything is to plan a huge big wedding... unfortunately I'm not getting a big wedding "yet"... 😑
I see everybody with their e-ring, venues, dress, decorations etc etc... and i love to read all the post but I can't relate to anyone lol..
My SO n I come from previous relationships and have kids from those relationships (3 total) and together we have a 4 month baby...☺ we been living together almost 3 years and we are getting married by court only😶.. only me n him n 5 relatives(his)n dinner afterwards... even tho is something very simple am very excited about buying a dress and wedding bands...only thing is i would've wish to have an e-ring... i even want to buy it my self but i think is cliche to propose to my self lol.... i do wish for a church ceremony but we waiting on that one for a lil bit.. i want it to be in mexico.. (my parents live their) n save a liitle money as well 😬😄 everyone believes that you need to be financially stable to get married and i believe is true but i also think that if you see a future with that one special person $100 dollars is all u need for a perfect day.. right???? 🤔

Absolutely. Keep reading, you will find posts on here about small weddings - all you need is the two of you, the license and an officiant. There are loads of posts about how to have a beautiful, inexpensive, small wedding. The financially stable thing is about having a wedding you can afford and not going into debt for a party.

It was actually because of this website that I am so excited about my wedding. I also always see things posted on here about huge weddings having like 10 bridesmaids and everything else you "expect" from a wedding. I started posting things and getting people's opinions and it really showed me that my small wedding at a state park was completely fine. I have people who are having 150+ guest coming and giving me advice on my wedding that will have 20 people at it. I came here to realize that the wedding I have is what I want. I don't need to be sad because everyone else is having these extravagant weddings because regardless if I had 200+ people coming or only my small group coming that it was special either way. If your perfect day is going to court then getting another wedding consider yourself lucky because you get two special days.
Regardless if you have 100 or 1 million dollars your special day is for you and your significant other Smiley smile

Having a ton of money doesn't always make a beautiful wedding! Don't go into debt, though. Have the special day you and FH can afford! It will be equally magical as any other wedding Smiley smile
