Writing vows to son

Aryn, on July 17, 2019 at 3:20 AM Posted in Planning 0 3
We want to write vows to our 2 year old son and wanted to give him something that he can keep for life but he’s only 2. Has anyone ever done this? What did you give to your children on your wedding day? Thank you!

I haven't but wanted to say it's really nice of you to include him. Did you want like a momento or something like a toy? There's a lot of cool unity ceremony options for including kids but he might not appreciate it until he's older.

My FH is getting my daughter (not his biologically) a bracelet that has a little saying on it about promising her forever too. I don't remember the exact saying but it was so cute. And we're going to surprise her by asking her to come over and he's going to get down on his knee and say a few words and present it to her. She's 6. 🥰

Hey Aryn! This sounds like a really wonderful idea.

Are you hoping to get him something of sentimental value that he will be able to use in later life? If so, perhaps cufflinks or a pocket watch that he will be able to use when he is an adult.
