Wrap around labels - any issues mailing? *UPDATE*

Mine have the same set up and the post office did not say anything to me. I wont be sending mine out until next week but I feel like they should be fine as long as you printed the names and addresses in an easy to read font.

Hmm, I'd think they would be fine? I wonder if it's the label itself (issues running through their machines) or the placement of the addresses? Wish they could have explained at little bit more!!

I saw these on wedding paper divas and I was so confused by them. I don't get it. What is on the other "side" than your return address?

The other side is the return address.

Yeah, he said the placement of the return address might throw the machine's off since it's typically supposed to be either on the same side as as the delivery address but top left corner, or the front on top of the flap. The position it's in is similar to where the delivery address would go, but on the wrong side.

I'm hoping the placement of the stamp on the back will help it indicate that the delivery address is on the back in generally the right place (?)

We had the same type and had no problems. We did have them hand stamp them instead of the machines. I highly recommend to have them do that. Some will hand you the stamp to do them yourselves.

We placed forever stamps on them by hand...is that what you mean?

If you have the usps hand cancel, which is fine, be advised it may take a few extra days for your invitations to get to their destinations. I only say this because I know many brides get nervous when the invites don't arrive within a few days!

I had these and had no trouble at all. The PO didn't say anything to us about it and the only 2 invites that I got returned ended up being because I was given the wrong address. I had mine hand cancelled as well.

Hmmm...my dad went and I don't think he asked to have them hand cancel. Would they hand cancel it without being told?

Now I'm just a little worried...

Just an update: We did get one that was canceled on the wrong side and therefor sent to the return address - so sent to us.

It sounds like a lot of them went out and were fine, though. I've heard a few people haven't received them yet, though which makes me nervous since our RSVP cut off is July 23rd.

The only issue I could see is if the label somehow gets caught in the sorting and rips off but it should be fine
