WR-Hey cookie table brides! Advice needed-Vendors welcome

Sherri, on August 6, 2010 at 11:46 AM Posted in Planning 0 12

We are doing a cookie table for the reception (tradition here in Western PA). Our venue suggested we have to go boxes for the guests to take some to cut down on how many we would have to take home with us at the end of the night. Any clue where I can find nice to go boxes that are not HUGE. I am looking for ones on the smaller side and all I can find are the huge bakery ones in bulk. Any and all ideas are welcome!!

I love me some cookie tables! I think everyone should have this tradition! Anyway, my sisters best friend got a local chinese resturant to donate small chinese boxes for theirs. They were plain so she decorated them up with her colors.

Hi Sherri! My FMIL got some super cute boxes from Oriental Trading Company. They say "Mr." or "Mrs." on them. Really cute, and very inexpensive. I'm sure the OTC website has a bunch of other choices. Check them out!

Thanks Teresa! I will look at it tonight, I had their catalogue but sent it to my sister when I decided I had everything. Guess I didn't.

That is a such a good idea! Of all the weddings I've been to, there have never been take home boxes for the leftover cookies if guests wanted them...we've always ended up with a load of extra cookies (not so good when you have diabetes..but who can resist!) Thanks for bringing this up! I'll have to think about boxes too! Also, yay for cookie tables!!! Love Western PA!

You can also try Nashville Wraps www.nashvillewraps.com. They have a great selection of boxes, in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors.

Michael's sells the takeout boxes here in a lot of colors. you might find the size you like and a color that works with your wedding colors.

I am going to have cookies at my candy buffet. So it would be a candy/cookie buffet table.
