Wow factor???

My wow factor is that very few people in our real lives know we are getting married in January. I think a lot of people are going to be very surprised.

We splurged and rented an antique Rolls Royce to drive us around for the day. It picked the groom up first, drove to my house, parked out front, we did our first look, drove us to take photos at the arboretum, drove us to the church and to to reception. Totally worth it in my opinion. I had been dreaming of this car my whole life.

The menu aha. Our friends in a different culture than us were surprised at how much food there was.

The views. We’re getting Married in Rocky Mountain National Park, which is one of the most beautiful natural parts of Colorado. There will be no extra decorations (as they’re not allowed), and no chairs, but it a going to be gorgeous.

Wow factors:
I opted for a dress that I’m sure no one would’ve expected me to get.
My veil is 158”. Long train lol. I’m a poet and writing my own vows. 😊

Probably my dress. I’m not known for being the center of attention and I rarely spend money on myself, but somehow I ended up in a fitted/fully beaded dress worth almost $3,000. I may have gotten it on sale for $800 but the guests didn’t know that. 😁

We had a cheesesteak station for guests as they left and people are still talking about it!

I think our ceremony site. It’s nestled in the Memphis Botanic Gardens, and ceremony will be in April when everything is in bloom.

We had two.

1. The view from the venue. We looked out over the Hudson River and Jersey City/Hoboken from NYC. Add in huge windows/doors open to the balcony all night long, and the sunset in the background... pictures were stunning.
