Onsite catering means that the food is prepared in house or "onsite" so they are a full service hall that does everything there.

Offsite is when you book a hall that provides only the location, and you hire your caterers to set up and serve the food. Some fire halls are like this. Sometimes couples do this to save some money, get a huge hall for cheap and bring in great caterers. Some couples may just like a location but not the food and bring in their own caterers.

    Hope that helps!
