Would you rather

We are going the cupcake route. There will be a small cake for my wife and I, as well as the bridal party to share but the guests will be offered cupcakes.

We are having an 8 inch one tier cake for us to cut and 4 flavors of cupcakes

Either one sounds yummy!!! This is our wedding cake. We’re still deciding on a sweet table.

Then I would go with a 4-5 layer cake. That is just my preferance.

We have a candy bar, a two tier cake and two cakes of different flavors to the side. I’m still looking at potentially making a fake wedding cake though

I am having a two tier cake with cupcakes . I hate going to a wedding and eating cut cake or any party for that matter. Cupcakes are easily light and convient. I am so guilty of getting a big slice of cake at a wedding and not finishing it , money wasted . Cupcake are perfect!!!!

Im having a 5 tier cake but not all of it is real. So Im still in the budget and the cake looks expensive

Smaller cake with a sweets table all the way and I would eat all the desserts! (Though I know I shouldn't.) Every time I go to a wedding I see so much cake just stiing at eat place setting not being consumed. A sweets table allows people to pick what they want.

I had both... my cake was 3 tiers but they added cupcakes to cut the costs for me. So cupcakes are definently cheaper.

We are planning on a single tier for us to cut and cupcakes. My FH is gluten free.

I'm doing a 2 tier cake and cupcakes . It just seems easier , less mess and lot of the people coming have kids so less hassle for the parents .

I think people would prefer that variety in desserts. We are doing a 3 tier cake and that’s it. Though we don’t care about cake or sweets at all. A big dessert spread sounds amazing and a 5 tier cake would look spectacular, but it’s not going to have the variety of little cupcakes and treats. If i was a dessert person I’d do the variety, if I was going for a visually stunning cake I’d do the 5 tier.

I vote two-tier cake with cupcakes and sweets!

So our tasting was today. We ended up going with a two tier cake and the sweets will be mini banana pudding cups, lemon bars, mini cheesecakes, fresh fruit cups, cookie cakes( cookies stuff with buttercream and rolled in gold glitter and candy apples!!
