Would it be weird to have 2 veils?

Rachel , on September 24, 2017 at 8:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

I already purchased my veil when I ordered my weddinf gown. I won a door prize basket at a bridal show today which included a free veil from a local bridal shop. My dress has a chapel length train. This is my current veil. Would it be weird to grt a longer veil for the ceremony and use the short one for pictures? Or should I sell the one I already have if I find something I like more? Tia

Heres the one I have where you can see it from all angles. Excuse my face, my mom caught my bridal moment.

I plan on using 2 veils... cathedral for pics n then the fingertip for ceremony, few pics afterwards with FH n reception/wearing it as long as I'm comfy!

@ambrok That is great! Thank you so much. Part of me wanted a long veil when I initially went in but I let the consultant talk me out of it. I can have the best of both worlds!

Sounds like a plan to me. And not a weird plan at that.

Can you return the one you bought?

Wear the one you like the most. I don't think you need two veils!

I don't think it's weird! I would just make sure that however you plan to have your hair styled will work for both veils!

I'm considering doing the same thing. Wear a long one for the ceremony and a short one for the reception cause lord knows I'm gonna be stepping all over it.

Yeah. That's definitely a fear of mine as well. I'm already not graceful as it is lol
