Would having the bridesmaids in diffrent colored dresses look good

CountryBride, on December 9, 2020 at 1:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

I have zero fasion sense, as you know my colors are Light Pink Light Purple and light blue.

would it look good if the bridesmaids jr bridesmaid and flower girls were in these colors some bridesmaids in purple some in pink and flower girls one in blue and one in purple or would it look too busy and should I only stick to one color for the bridesmaids

Personally I think it would look too busy. Have the bridesmaids in 1 color, jr bridesmaids in another color & the flower girls in the last color.

For me, it would depend on the shade of those colors to see if they will work together or not. I would say keep the flower girls one color, probably blue since your bridesmaids are going to be in purple and pink. Having the fgs in blue will show that they have a separate role from the rest of the bridal party, but that they are all fgs based on them all being in blue.

Here are some examples I found of purple and pink dresses together! Not sure what shades you're going for, but I think they'll look pretty together!

My original post isn't adding the other pictures, but I just googled 'purple and pink bridesmaid dresses', and it came up with tons of options!

I'm considering doing this but in pastel colors or just different shades of the same color. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it and it can still look good. I think if they're wearing different colored dresses, you should match the groomsmen though with what the bridesmaids are wearing to pull it all together (their tie, shirt, etc.).

I think if you do multiple colors all the bridesmaids should be in one color, junior bridesmaids in their own color and flowers girls in their own color. Otherwise I think it could get too busy.

Lol your talking to a bride who's having her bridesmaids in the color of the rainbow. Do whatever you need to do.

I definitely think it'd work if the tones are right. I have 4 bridesmaids and they got different shades of blue in different styles but similar enough that you can tell they're the bridesmaids.

I personally love mismatched bridesmaids and feel like all those colors go together well. As long as the mix of colors/shades is fairly evenly distributed, I don't see any reason why you can't have them wearing different shades of light pink, purple, and blue.

You can definitely pull this off! Like Shelly said - there's a ton of inspiration pictures on pinterest you can use for reference, and I definitely think that color spectrums work much better than picking two or three exact shades!

I've also worn mismatched dresses as a bridesmaid! For my friend's Cape Cod wedding she asked us to wear dresses is pale purples, pink pinks, and greys:

We each updated the bride when we bought a dress which was a huge help so that she could make sure we didn't all pick dresses in the same color!
