Worried about silly things???

My wedding is September 2nd 2019!!! About 3 months away!! Eeeeekk!! So I recently posted about my wedding dress and I ABSOLUTELY love itttt!! It has swarovski crystals all on the bodice and a simple full tulle a line skirt, and my veil is also embroidered with crystals and it’s cathedral ( I have pictures of it on my WW account ) But I showed it to a few people, and I was just wondering if anyone else had people give comments that although weren’t intended to come off the wrong way..but it still kinda made you feel funny a bit?? I know it doesn’t matter what people think, but it kinda makes you second guess things or the choices you made regarding the wedding.. I guess it’s kinda like you want people to feel how you feel about it. I’m also worrying about the bridesmaids dresses and how everything will look, like the flowers and the color scheme.. the girls are wearing dresses from david’s bridal, they’re wearing an over the shoulder dress in ice blue...and their bouquets are baby’s breath and mine is a white rose with baby’s breath bouquet. It might be because we are getting so close to the wedding that I’m starting to worry about silly things in general but people saying stuff definitely doesn’t help LOL it’s like ok well this is our day why are you trying to put what you would do on your wedding into my wedding planning or choosing, then making me feel bad about what we are choosing to do ? Does that make sense? Like when I heard those comments about my wedding dress, it made me feel bad about what I chose.. like that it’s not bridal enough or too much or whatever.. although it doesn’t matter what people think or say, but it definitely effect how you feel cuz it’s makes you think “ oh god, did I make hasty decisions in what I chose to do for my wedding ?” I hope this makes sense lol

If I were you I would stop telling people details about your wedding! Everyone will always have opinions on everything... the best thing you can do is not give them anything to have an opinion on haha. When/if people ask about the details, it is more than ok to tell them that it's a surprise and they'll have to wait and see! You're setting yourself up for disappointment if you as too many people's opinions, because you'll never get THAT many people to all agree on one decision Go with your gut, and if you want to ask a couple people for opinions, maybe ask your FH, your mom, your MOH, but no more than that!

You’re right ☺️ It’s just so exciting to talk about the wedding, I can’t keep my mouth shut about it LOL but talking about too many details or when someone asks, you have a point in keeping it brief or saying it’s a surprise. My FH has definitely been helping in keeping me feel relaxed regarding what I feel nervous about.. my biggest support system right there lol. Ugh, I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I have some very judgmental family and I second guess every decision, will they like the food, will they like the music, will the colors come together.
Everything will be beautiful on your day. Don't worry what everyone thinks. I would just stop showing people the bits and pieces of the wedding and wait for them to see it all come together. It's hard to explain your vision but you have selected every detail and it will be perfect. It already sounds beautiful. I love the ice blue with the baby's breath, very angelic!

My Mom hates my dress, she wanted me to go with the full ball gown with lots of poof, but insted I went with a trumpet with a little touch of mermaid and I absolutely love it! You have to keep in mind that this is your big day and no matter what anyone thinks as long as you feel beautiful then their opinions don't matter. (First one is Moms choice last two are my dress but white)

It is hard to explain what I envision and trying to and seeing their expression is disheartening cuz they just don’t see it... but I do! Thank you for the advice and positivity.. I appreciate it so much ❤️

This is why I'm telling very few people anything about our wedding, and no one knows all of the details, not even FH. We had some people imparting their wedding dreams on us before we started planning, and some people have done this in the past on FH's side and gotten their way. I refuse to do that.

Stay strong and ignore those people and their comments. It's your day, do it how you dream.
