Wording in the invitation

Sheila, on June 14, 2019 at 7:42 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 6
We are having a very small ceremony at a restaurant and after that we will have dinner with our guests that will e around 15. I wanted to specify that a dinner will be served and drinks. How can I express that correctly in the invitation and be clear that is not a reception with dancing?

Is Dinner to follow correct? Or Dinner reception ? The ceremony and dinner will be at the same place. We don’t have a dancing stage since is a restaurant.

We’re having this same discussion too because we’re doing the same thing. I think “dinner to follow” makes more sense because “dinner reception” could be misconstrued as dinner/dancing

Mine were at the same place but with dancing and we simply did “dinner and dancing to follow” so subtracting the dancings from both is fine !
