Wording for Guestbook Signs

Sandra Kay, on July 15, 2015 at 10:57 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

I have a slight dilemma. I am having 2 guest 'books' since I could not decide which one I'd rather have. One is a frame with little hearts to sign names and the other is an actual book with our engagement photos & plenty of space for well wishes & whatnot. I want to hang the frame in our house but also have the longer messages to treasure in the future. It may be a tad excessive, but it also may be the best of both worlds. :-)

I am working on making a little sign to explain the hearts to our guests that may not 'get it' and want to include a note about the book. So far, this is what I have:

"Guestbook Plinko: Please sign a heart & drop it in the frame. So we will never forget the loved ones who came.

PS - There is also a traditional guest book for longer message of love & well wishes. "

I feel like there is a more creative way to say the PS but I am stuck. I've seen some great ideas & feedback on these boards so I'm hoping y'all will have something to help get me unstuck.

I'm doing two "guestbooks". One is a calendar, and I'm asking guests to sign their birthday (my goal is to send out birthday cards! we'll see how that goes lol). And the other is a traditional guestbook.

I'll have a sign that says "Please sign your birthday" and another sign that says "Please sign our guestbook". The end. Smiley smile

    10-4! Thank you both.

I'll definitely just simplify & get this task crossed off my ever growing to-do list. Smiley smile

I agree that the more simple, the better.
