Wording for food station signs?

Liz, on June 15, 2020 at 2:39 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 10
First, I hope everyone is staying sane and healthy during this crazy time, if wedding planning wasn’t stressful enough, they had to throw in a pandemic. Bah!

My question: we are having heavy stations instead of a sit down or buffet dinner. Our venue is 2 floors, we will have a bar going on each floor and we will have stations on both floors. I want to put a sign by the door that leads to the stairs to let people know there’s more goodies and food up there, but not sure how to word it. Keep it simple and have it say “food upstairs”? Or something cutesy? I def don’t want to put anything that sounds rhyme-y or juvenile.l, but also don’t want to be too stiff. Suggestions??

I think i would just do "more food this way" with an arrow or something aha. or like a "still hungry?" with an arrow

I agree with Melle. Have you confirmed with your venue that you still allowed to have stations? I know it was recommended by the CDC not to have food stations.

Will there be different kinds of food upstairs that isn't offered downstairs? Or just more of the same? If it's different options, I would include a sign saying what's offered upstairs. If it's not different food, I wouldn't have a sign.

We’re still good to go on stations for now. We’re at the end of September so still planning on it, and most of them will have staff manning them

Yes, it’ll be different foods upstairs. I’m worried about the food getting moved around last minute and what we had planned upstairs will be moved downstairs and vice versa. I think I’m way overthinking it, though!

Yeah, I could see that. I agree that it doesn't make sense to make specific signs, just a generic message of "more food options upstairs" will work no matter what.
