Wooden "slab" slice as centerpiece?

Buy them from another bride after her wedding. Look on local Facebook Buy and Sell, and Bride to Bride sites.

Also do a search on www.searchtempest.com

Is there a way for you to make them? Thats what im doing, you just need a tree and a saw. For $0 you can perhaps easily do this. plus you will be able to get the exact size that you are looking for

Oddly my FI and I were at Crate and Barrel yesterday looking at registry stuff and we LOVE their Acacia Wooden Slab "Server." We kind of wanted a handful of them to place under plates for dinners, it's a cool look they showed at the store but these would work for what you are going for!

I'm not positive how many we have right now, we cut trees on our property since we heat our house with wood, so we just cut slices as we find adequate sliceable wood. They are from Long Island, both Suffolk and Nassau. We will be there for a wedding in November.
