wood slabs for centerpieces

Brittany, on March 7, 2013 at 1:09 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

Is anyone using wood slabs with their centerpieces? What size are the wood slabs you are using? I'm using mason jars for my centerpieces, and I'm not sure what size I would need.

Yes..I plan to use slabs of wood with mason jars...FH is going to cut wood for the centerpiece...so far an 8" diameter appears about the right size.

We had 6 or 8 ft round tables. The wood slabs were pretty big, we had a quart mason jar, a pint and a small jelly jar along with a small frame table number on each slab. I would say each slab averaged a bout 12in diameter.

My friend did the same thing for her wedding... She had 3 mason jars with ribbon and floating candles on a wood slab... I would guess about 8" as well- it was definitely less than a foot
