Wood Flowers

Samantha, on April 5, 2020 at 12:56 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 7

I'm going to be doing wood flowers for my wedding. I'm doing white roses and succulents so it's a plus if you've had either.

Where did everyone get there's from?

Do you still have them?

Did anybody notice they weren't real?

Let's talk about slivers?????

How much did you spend?

Were you happy with the results?

PICTURES please!!!!!!!

I haven't had my wedding yet, but bought some sola flowers to use in diy decor projects. I think they're really pretty! From afar I think they look like real flowers, but up close you can tell they're not real flowers. They're very pretty, but they do have a different look (which I personally like). No issues with slivers, they're made from a very soft wood.

I bought mine pre-dyed from TheBackyardGardener on Etsy and am really happy with them so far.
Forgive the carpet background Haha this was a picture I was using when planning out the order I wanted flowers in for a diy project (I'll try to remember to share pics when the project is complete)

I was interested in those too at one point. This is the site I found and they let you get samples of the flowers and colors you are interested in shipped right to you. It gave me a chance to see what I liked and feel the flowers. Check them out! They also have ones that are already premade.

I’m using wood flowers too...getting everything custom colors and dyed from Petals and Pine. Their garden bouquet style is exactly what I was thinking.

I tried searching Petals and Pine and didn't find anything. Do you have a website?

I am using solawoodflowers.com, they are very reasonable in price & looks pretty real! It was hard for me to find a place that had flowers that looked as real as I was hoping, and was very pleased with these. I also got them on sale- they runs sales quite a bit, my bridesmaids bouquets were $15 a piece!
