I just got married two weeks ago to the love of my life of 9 years. He rarely posts to social media so when he posts a photo of me with the caption “My beautiful wife” some girl decides to ruin this sweet post with “I’m dead” which is slang for dying of laughter. My protective sis asked “Why are you dead?” No comment that day.
This is the same girl who commented “Happy birthday handsome” and a progression workout photo he posted previously. It’s like when we got engaged she began to take notice. At first I brushed it off since I thought it was harmless and I’ve had comments like that made but it was nothing more but that “I’m dead” I felt was really disrespectful and the last straw.
I asked husband about it and he said he has no idea why she would say that and never even talks to her. He wanted to ask why she would say such a thing. I said you don’t even have to, she obviously has a crush and likes to start drama. I said I don’t want any person like that interfering in our lives even if it’s online so he blocked her.
Next day, you know what she does? She sends me a request to follow me! I thought that was super weird so I blocked her too. I was thinking maybe she was trying to apologize or explain but she could’ve just messaged me without trying to go through my profile.
It makes me upset because I’ve met her once and was super nice to her. She’s the sister of our good friends who attended our wedding. So to know I’ve been friendly with some girl who has other alternatives sickens me.
