I can't really wrap my head around this one. I feel like if a guy isn't proposing, it's probably because he's not ready. I wouldn't feel comfortable asking a man to marry me. My FH knew after 7 short months that he wanted to be with me.

That's really my only concern. I guess I'm too traditional. I don't see any other problem with women proposing to men though.

I'm fairly traditional toward this. I personally wouldn't have proposed to FH. But nothing wrong for women who do!

According to fiance I technically asked him to marry me. We had a series of unfortunate events and while I didn't want him homeless I told him I really only wanted to live with me if I was going to marry them. So I asked if he had the intention to get married and he said yes. Then a few weeks later we said why wait? Let's be engaged now. So here we are.

I personally prefer the man to propose but I'm not against the woman doing it. I would have asked my FH is he didn't do it soon. Lol I'm not a very patient person and it would have been funny if I asked him instead and he definitely wouldn't have been surprised that I did. Haha
