Women Are More Attracted To Married Men

This is really interesting. Because our jobs are in male dominated fields I wouldn't know if more women found my fiance attractive, most of our day is spent with men.
I am amused women were attracted to married men but if they spotted a ring were less likely to persue the man.
Also makes you wonder if there's a behavioral aspect at play, perhaps men who are married are used to or more comfortable with interacting with women and a more friendly and comfortable person will always be more attractive.

I suspect this has a lot to do with the fact that there are a whole lot of male predators around. A woman may feel more secure with someone she knows will go home to his wife than with other men. (Notice that men don't have the same interest in married women; they also don't fear that a date will end up with them being raped or murdered.)

So in the abstract, a woman is more attracted to a married man. But once she actually gets to meet him, and figures out that he's not a predator, she's more attracted to a man who is free to have a relationship.

I've heard single women talk about being attracted to married men because they are willing to commit and treats his wife well. But to me, that logic is flawed because if he would step out of his marriage for another woman then he isn't really a catch.

But attraction is never really logical. When people are being asked about a hypothetical attraction to someone they've never met (which is the only circumstance in which women were more attracted to married men), their response is much more related to unconscious feelings than to logic.
