Wishing Dress?

I'm not getting married until June 2020 and I have been looking for wedding dress ideas. Since I'll be getting married on the beach, I wanted to know what other ladies chose. I found a beautiful dress on "wishing dress" and I would like to know has anyone purchased a dress from them? My moms a seamstress and I had her do my measurements, but I'm a bit worried about their size chart. Due to me being a hourglass shape I have always been a dress size 16. But with this site, its saying I'm a 20. I've never warn a 20....and now I feel like I should loose weight. Should I buy both sizes? Or get the 20 and let my mom make alterations.?

With your mom being a seamstress, I'd say go with the 20 to be safe, and she can take it in where ever it's needed. I'd rather be safe than sorry by buying a dress that will be too tight in some areas. And don't forget, sizes are different with each store, they are never truly uniform unless they strictly go by your measurements. You may be a 20 at this store, a 16 at others, and a 14 somewhere else completely, so don't let their sizes get you feeling any type of way

So first of all, only order from that site if you have the time and money to get a new dress if it doesn’t turn out how you envisioned. The fact that they show their dresses by using stolen images usually means they will rip off a designer dress and try and remake it using cheaper materials. Second of all bridal sizes are a lot different than street sizes so definitely go by the sizing chart if you do decide to order from them.

I was thinking about the stolen images too. As beautiful as the dress is.... I would hate for it not to look like the picture.

Hi Sinéad. The dress I saw on Wishing Dress had never been ordered and didn't have any reviews. After hours of searching Google (using the reverse image search and all), I couldn't find the original designer. I then decided to find a local designer who could make a dress for me. The designer asked me to attend the bridal show here (in Atlanta) in November to look at her dresses and get idea of what I want.

Yes!!! I would like something short with a detachable train maybe? This is the dress I saw on Wishing dress... so something like this would be amazing!!
