Wiring in dress

Alexandria, on January 9, 2017 at 10:40 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Hello ladies,

So I found a great dress and it fits great everywhere except for my chest.

I haven't done my fitting yet, but the lady concerned me a bit when she said she thought the chest would fit better when I got the right size in but it didn't.

So my question is for the ladies with the smaller chest area and how their dresses were sized to fit them? Especially when there's wiring in that area.

I've never seen wiring in a dress, do you mean boning?

If you actually mean boning- my seamstress ended up removing some in the chest area. I'm also small chested and it made some weird lumps/unnatural shape. She said "boning either works with you or against you, and in this case it's working against you" so boom, she ripped it out and I was good.

I just had cups put in so it filled in the empty space. It was easy for The Sewing and it doesn't look fake or much bigger than my normal boobs. Plus I didn't have to wear anything under the dress besides underwear it was like a built-in bra

    Yes, boning!

    Thanks @ashleyR

I love the dress I am just worried about the chest, hoping it works out just as well when I'm with my seamstress.
