Winter Wonderland Centerpieces?

6 years later, on November 27, 2011 at 10:07 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 31

Hello all,

I'm making my own centerpieces for my wedding with a Winter Wonderland theme. I am a failed art major and would greatly appreciate any advice :-)

Baby's Breath is great for a winter wedding theme. Looks like snow! And it's cheap too!

I love the baby's breath idea...and it is super cheap! I love white tree branches with crystals dangling. Also, candles with wreaths and ornaments. If you want flowers, I absolutely love the combination of white lilies, red chilies and green pine....I can't find a picture of it, but I saw it a couple years ago and fell in love with the idea and look...it's gorgeous together!

I love working on winter weddings! There are so many options you can do...and baby's breath is so beautiful for these weddings! I never thought to immerse them into water! What a cool idea! Smiley smile

I had looked at glass etching for our centerpieces and I came across these with a nice wintery design.

We're doing lit branches, ours are brown but there are some really pretty white "frosted" ones...

I am digging that babys breath submersed in water in the vase. That just looks fantastic!

I thought about doing something with soft white lights and babys breath, someone suggested lights with colored marbles. It's so difficult to picture lol

Future Mrs. Moore!! I am LOVING your ideas. That is an excellent idea for favors by the way. I really like your center piece and want to do something similar, but with Tiffany blue. Someone suggested putting a small string of battery-operated lights in there, but I've yet to find images where this was done. Awesome work!!

I can't find any either but I'm sure it will look great. I forgot to say I am putting fake snow either in the vase or around it on the mirror.

Thanks ladies! We are attempting the bouquets this weekend. I will post pictures when we are done. Smiley smile
