Wine Groupon

Ana, on May 19, 2019 at 6:52 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
Hey all,
first of all there is a wine Groupon for 20 bottles of wine.
do you think that’s enough for a wedding of 110 people? I could get two if need be.
If your buying your own wine how much are you getting?

20 bottles is 80-100 glasses depending on the pour. 4 or 5 glasses per bottle. If you have more than 10 wine drinkers they can easily drink all your wine even if there is other alcohol.
We're planning on having 120-140 guests, mostly beer or other drinkers but will have about 40 bottles.

Are you having beer or liquor in addition to wine? And how many hours is your reception? I would think you would need at least 60 bottles if not more.

Hey Ana! It's great that you can get a Groupon deal for your wine. However, I don't think 20 bottles would be enough for a guest list of 110 people.

Are these bottles of wine for having with dinner (i.e. placed on the tables) or to be served by bartenders at your bar?
