What's the best option when looking for wine glasses? Buying, renting, plastic...?

I would rent just because depending on your wedding size I can’t imagine what you would do with hundreds of wine glasses afterwards. Plastic or glass depends on the formality of your wedding. Does your caterer or bartender provide glasses?

Looking at about 150 people. The caterer will be just doing food, tea, and lemonade. We are covering everything to do with the bar.

Okay then definitely rent unless you’re having a casual enough wedding that you can do plastic. Contact a local event rental company.

Webstaurant store is where I found most bulk items. I’m buying most and they are plastic so they are disposable. The plastic stemless wine glasses are what I’m doing, simple and people can put juice or water or whatever in them if they don’t want wine after a couple glasses.

I’m also doing the plastic disposable for wine. I found 100 on amazon for $20.

Ate you buying glass glasses? Can you donate to Goodwill instead of throwing away?

    I could but would not

if i take the time to collect them, wash them, and drive them somewhere I would definitely give them to a church or organization that would give them away for free instead of selling them but unfortunately I think I’m going to be a lazy terrible person and say if you like the glasses take them because a couple would have a pair and if not probably not want more work in what will be a long day because of money saving short cuts...

i have asked if anyone anyone wants to collect and donate them and I’m thinking someone (probably my mom) will... but I just think I don’t want to deal with it...

I would rent them. Does your caterer provide rentals? Gathering them up, cleaning them and packing them away just isn't something I would want to do after my wedding.

Oh! Taking them to a church or community center is a great idea! Asking a family member would be very helpful. I totally get not wanting to deal with it since you'll have your hands full with the wedding (and you've got a lot of DIY projects).
