Wine for each table?

Soon, on June 23, 2019 at 4:37 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Hi friends, I am having a brunch wedding ceremony at 10:30am reception at 12:00pm. Instead of having a open bar I wanted to perhaps use wine bottles as table numbers (I have 14 tables.) and give each table their own bottle of one red wine & one white wine (I don't want to do hard liquor my wedding is on Wednesday in the morning).. Is this a good idea considering its brunch or is this tacky?

I’m not sure how many people will drink wine at lunch, especially a red wine. Perhaps a mimosa bar or Bloody Mary bar and a champagne toast? Just a thought. 😊

I wouldn't use full bottles of wine as table numbers, but empty wine bottles could be cute. Also, how about brunch cocktails like mimosas instead of white/red wine? Maybe a mimosa/bellini bar would be fun - buy some prosecco and then have different juices available for people to make their own. You can also just have a bartender there to pour mimosas if you're worried about having people make their own or if the venue wouldn't allow self-serving like that.
