Have whatever color you want! I'm getting married in October and my matron of honor is wearing sapphire. Not exactly a fall color either since it is quite bright. But I love it and we're "fall-ing it up" with the choice of flowers.

Use the wine/burgundy as an accent like in florals, not main color for dresses

grey suits all around with burgundy shirt and grey bow tie for the men.

Having a backyard vow renewal under the oak tree. None of the attendants could find the time to get together and since we all work and are in our late 30's early 40's. So I am trying to be easy going about this. Apparently, I'm more easy going then them. LOL. Anyhow, they got in my head with the burgundy is a fall color and I'm getting overwhelmed. In any event, my attendants, one is wearing mauve lace short, the other burgundy with cream showing through it, also short, and the third is wearing a Betsey Johnson maxi dress in cream with flowers of mauve and burgundy. The "flower girl" is wearing navy blue lace with mauve and pink flowers. Yes it's a bit disjointed but since it's not really a wedding I wanted to be laid back about it and let everyone be comfortable. Probably a terrible idea. Honestly I would have had them all in maxi summer dresses if it were up to me. LOL. Anyhow, thank god for this post because I have been worrying about this and trying to figure out what colors to add to make this work for a summer renewal. Screw em...I like the garden party woodsy theme with burgundy flowers and blush flowers. If you post pictures so will I!!!
