I've been reading that they will want me to pay $300 for a permit even for a 10 person, 15 minute ceremony with no altar. I'm losing my mind here! Destination/Elopements are supposed to be easy! I'm praying that this isn't true. If anyone has insight, please let me know!

Don't do it.
Coronado is free if you have under 25 people and it's a prime location.
It's still in san diego
