Will your veil cover your face while you are walking down aisle and during your vows?

I can't decide if I want it down or not? There is something so elegant about having it down though!

    Nope :-)

That doesn't mean you can't wear yours that way.

I think it's a little too old-fashioned. The trend originated when marriages were arraigned. The lifting of the veil occurred so the groom could finally see his bride (whom he has never seen). I also think it makes it difficult for people to see your face and the pictures won't turn out well.

I absolutely love the blusher and it will be over my face while my dad walks me down the aisle, then he will lift it and kiss me on my cheek or whatever he is going to do Smiley smile I think it is so beautiful, romantic, and vintage. I've always imagined wearing it. I just recently bought my gown and cathedral length veil and I love the way the blusher looks on me! I will have pictures with it over my face and back, so the best of both worlds Smiley smile

I think I'm wearing the blusher over my face down the aisle then my dad will pull it back so it's not covering my face anymore.

Paying way too much for make-up to cover up my face! Plus a catholic mass is a long time to have it down

YES! I want the moment when my husband will lift the veil, then we kiss.

    It's like a dream.

My stepdad is walking me down the aisle, so I am sure he will lift it, and then cover my face again to give me a kiss on the cheek before handing me off to FH. FH wants to be the one to completely lift it from over my face though, then we kiss.

I plan on having it down while my father walks me down the aisle and having him lift it when he "gives me away".

Yes. I am wearing a veil over my face. I am still unsure if for the entire mass or just down the aisle.

I'm having a religious ceremony so I have to have a veil that will cover my face... tradition and all.
