Purple...........which I'm finding is one of the hardest to match because the shades vary so much!! I'm looking for a really dark shade, almost eggplant. Another thing that makes this difficult is that every place has their own name for each shade. Like David's Bridal calls it Amethyst, while Azazie calls it Regency. Another place calls it plum, and another grape. It's like 4 different names for essentially the same shade of purple. Ugh.

Yikes. I’m afraid not.
My wedding is 2 weeks from Saturday and 2/3 of my bridesmaids do not have their dresses yet. Hopefully today because they’ll need hemming! Guys need to have vest colors requested ASAP. Having dusty rose/blush, sage green/dusty blue and the only purchased dress is a dusty lavender.
So far, Groom is wearing a meadow green vest and ombré bow tie, best man has a serene blue vest and ombré necktie (changes with the light, almost a steel blue) and other 2 groomsmen picking colors today. Hopefully it will be a mix of spring shades and look somewhat cohesive.

View Quoted Comment I actually had this exact problem for prom many moons ago! At the tux shop they couldn’t match my shade of purple so they actually paired it with a periwinkle vest and tie!

Dresses are blush, lavender, and a light blue. All three are different but have a crossed bodice and long, flowing skirt.
Guys wearing black suits and vests. Groom- champagne vest and bow tie (my dress is ivory/champagne). Groomsmen in matte silver, tan and stone, long ties. They’ve ordered ombré and solid ties and will decide when they’re in.

Whew! Wedding is coming up so fast that this is a huge thing to have sorted.

View Quoted Comment Thank you!! The dusty blue dresses are from Brideside and the Steel Blue ties are from a local menswear shop. They use a supplier called Tuxedo by Sarno.
