Wide Shoes, non ugly?

Michelle, on June 25, 2015 at 2:04 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 21

Hey everyone! This is my first post here! Do any of you have any suggestions for where to buy wide width bridal shoes? I've tried Badgely Mishka's wide width, which did not yield shoes wide enough for my pancake feet. Other searches online have similarly been disappointing. I've bought and returned 4 pairs now with no luck. Any ideas? I apologize if this question has already been asked!

Yeah I think I should check those two out again, it's been awhile since I've perused there. Thanks!

Check out Nina shoes at Nordstrom. They are not all labeled wide width but some styles run wide and they fit me.

What about sandal style shoes? They might be easier to fit than pumps.

Great ideas! I'll check out Nina's - one of my BMs works at Nordstrom so she can keep an eye out for me. Sandals could be good, but I sometimes find with all the straps my feet get like dug into? If that makes sense. I'm checking out Shoesofprey right now - so cool! I didn't know this was a thing!

I have wider feet too so I feel your pain. Most times I just end up sucking it up until they stretch and mold to my feet. With that said..

Have you checked out Betsey Johnson? She has a wedding line and has some very pretty ones and you can usually find them on sale on Amazon as well. They're not labeled wide but I have to go half size down on her shoes sometimes. Even TTS, they fit comfortably from the moment they come out of their box. Her shoes are very comfortable and I can walk in them for hours.

Jessica Simpson is another one that's very comfy and I can walk in her heels for hours.

If you're going to splurge, Jimmy Choo makes great, comfortable heels, even for wider feet.

Oh awesome! Unfortunately Jimmy is out of my price range, but I'll check out both Betsey Johnson and Jessica Simpson! Thank you so much!

Ok, I get what you're saying about the straps. My feet are on the wider side, but they aren't actually wide enough to warrant buying "wide" shoes. Hopefully you can find something!

Sorry, I have nothing to add that hasn't been mentioned. I just wanted to say the title of your posts reminds me when Joey on "Friends" put an ad in the paper looking for a "female roommate, nonsmoking, non-ugly" Smiley smile

Ha! I just finished re-watching Friends for the second time since it was added to Netflix... not ashamed!

I actually did buy a pair on 6PM that didn't end up working out, I should probably give them another chance as well.

I got my heels from DB. They weren't super wide, but I ordered a heel stretcher on amazon which was amazing. I have issues with shoes in general, so this was an awesome investment. Now I can get shoes without worrying because I can just stretch them.

Oh yeah, I tried on a Betsey Johnson pair that was too big for me in my usual size. I also usually have good luck with Adriana Papell shoes

Offbeat bride has a weekly shoe roundup, and periodically they feature wide (or other specifics) shoes. Maybe search that site, although of course many of the shoes will be offbeat!
