Why is catering so expensive in the Dmv!?

$12k for 140 people isn't that bad- ours is about that for 100 guests.

Catering costs are insane here, I agree. B.Lin is less expensive and seems great, but they're based in DC. If you're close by they could work, but they can't bring alcohol into MD, but they can provide a bartender. They do have a liquor license in DC

I said the samethinggggg smh...it's ridiculous! We're one of the most expensive states to get married in. It really depends on your venue too, is it one that requires you to use someone from the "preferred list"? If so I don't think its anyway around that and their pricing. We had to use a PC for our venue so we didnt really price anyone else but majority of the caterers on those lists are at least $85-$130 pp. Good luck!
