Who's walking you down the aisle, if its not your father?

My dad won't be able to walk me down the aisle, he won't be at the wedding at all actually. At first I was thinking our 2 boys walk beside me, they are 2 and 8. But then I decided they will hold a "Daddy here comes Mommy" sign before me. Now I'm thinking if I should have my mom and 15 yr old brother...

Advice?

My dad passed away in 2011 and my mom passed away in 2000. Originally I was going to have my 18 year old son walk me down but decided to have him and my 15 year old daughter. One on each side. My brother in law offered since he's been in my life for the last 25 years or so. I thought it was sweet of him but I gave him a different job...he's officiating.

I'm not sure how this is going to pan out just yet. My father is not invited to the wedding, but my step dad will be there... Along with my mother, my stepmother, and my adopted mother. I was thinking my best friend might walk me, but... Not sure yet since he plans on wearing a dress (that he has already picked out) and FW pointed out that some may find that weird. Lol.

My dad passed and my grandfather who was like a dad also passed. I have a step dad, but I have him walking my mom down. So my sister is going to walk me down. I figure that way a piece of my dad and grandfather are with me in my big day.

I'm walking solo. My father walked me at my first marriage almost 20 years ago when I was just a kid. Now I figure I'll give myself away.

My dad passed away last year and my mom passed away 4 years ago. I was planning on walking by myself but my sister said she wants to walk with me.

My fiance Smiley smile We're having a non-traditional wedding and we wanted to do way with the typical "giving away the bride" part.

Solo dolo! I could have my brother, grandfather, or son do it but I thought that since it's our day and it's all about us, all eyes can be on me and my FH can just focus on his bride walking down that aisle, lol.

My biological dad and I have no relationship and my step dad will be officiating the wedding, which is awesome because he knows us and it'll make the ceremony more meaningful.

I wish with all my heart my dad could do it. He passed away almost a year ago now.

My brother is doing it in his place. He cried when I asked him, so I knew I'd made the right choice. My dad would have wanted him to do it. Plus I think I am going to need his strength when it comes to taking those first few steps.

Even now when I talk about the wedding I find myself saying 'dad will...' Or 'my parents like...' And have to catch myself. So having my brother there with me will make it easier.

My parents will not be at my wedding so my uncle, who is like a father to me, will be walking me down the isle.

Hi Date Twin! I like the idea of your mom and lil brother walking you down. There are no rules as to who is supposed to walk you down. Do what feels right to you. There is no right or wrong decision.

I will be having my mom walk me down the aisle. My dad will not be at the wedding and I dont have a good relationship with my step father (im not thrilled about him coming...im just choosing to not fight this battle).
