Hey beautiful friends,

I would like to know, who are your go to people on your wedding day? Meaning, who will be seeing to it that guests know where to go when they arrive, vendors being greeted and showed around, any questions or concerns that guests may need to be addressed, because as the bride or groom, we'll probably be too busy to handle things like that on the big day!

Coordinator?

Best Man?

MOH?

A bridesmaid or groomsmen?

A parent?

Anyone else? Would love to know what you lovely people have planned!

Yes it was definitely a blessing! We cut other parts of the budget in order to have a wedding planner.

We’re getting married on the beach, reception is at a pavilion just off the beach. So that’s a big no. And DOCs are out of our budget.

I don’t have a DOC or a wedding planner and I want my MOH and bridesmaids to be free for pics and such. My mom and my fiancé’s aunts will probably handle a lot of things that day. Even the cutting of the cake for guests and stuff. And making sure cocktail hour goes smoothly while we take pics.

We had a day of coordinator! I also made two of three of my bridal party members immediately follow me to reception rather than go to cocktail hour so they could check make sure everything was ok for the reception

My FMIL made sure to that I knew she was going to be my DOC. She is super organized and knows my vision completely. I’m not worried at all because I know she’ll handle everything.

Our coordinator and event staff. Being this person as a wedding guest or party member is truly miserable and not an experience I ever want to be in again.

We decided to make space in the budget for our DOC. She’s lovely, we got her for a steal, and she comes with two assistants! I’m so thankful, because otherwise I don’t know who my person would be!

My aunt, my mom's sister. My mom did the same for both of her children's weddings last year.

A Day of Coordinator is worth it. You have put so much time and energy into making this day special and they will make sure it all goes according to your plan and vision. Also, I think signage cold definitely help with parking and guiding guests to areas while she makes sure vendors and everything else are going smoothly. (especially if the DOC does not have assistants to help)

So I have a DOC for the vendors and set up and that sort of stuff and then I will have my mom as the contact should guests have questions.

We have a long time family friend that has volunteered to be our DOC. She does events for Nascar, so I know she can handle our little casual wedding.

Our venue has a coordinator that we will use, but in reality I know it will be my sister and mom because they have been involved in the planning and know my vision.
