Who’s getting married this week? (9/27/21-10/3/21)

Me!! 10/1!! How is everyone feeling?? I am working through Wednesday and wishing I took Wednesday off also but otherwise I am a little anxious just to get stuff done the day before…nails and venue setup

Yesss!!! 10/2 🎉🥰

10/2! I took next Monday off for a 4-day weekend! Just finishing up little details for now. Good is about the last thing and everything should be set. Ugh! I’m nervous, anxious, excited! I hope I can function on Saturday!

I was SUPPOSED to be getting married this week. 10/2/21- the day after our 10yr anniversary...


However my 25yo stepdaughter-to-be gave her dad an ultimatum of “HER or ME” with the caveat of “If it’s HER then you won’t ever see me or speak to me again!”
Mind you he and I have been together for ALMOST 10 YEARS. This happened last October 28th, I had a stroke that night because of it, and he had me move out 11/21/20. But the messed up part is we are still seeing each other- as often as him having me in an apartment 5min away, and she doesn’t know..... So it’s like *I* am the mistress and SHE is the wife!
The closet it gets to the wedding the more anxious, depressed, angry, hurt and all my chronic illness’s are flaring up... To make it worse my mom had major surgery 9/24 & aunt has heart surgery 9/23 & I’m caring for them, son is going through a breakup & I fell down stairs & hurt( fractured?) my right ankle, am 500 miles away from him & apartment- and apartment still has mice & I’m on the 5th floor!
So CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU....

We finishing up our count on who coming. Also, talking to the DJ about our intro performance. Putting all my gifts together for the bridal party. Finishing up the decorations.

This Friday! But my grandparents tested positive for covid this week, so they won't be coming

Anyone else having a helluva time with guest lists? We invited 115 and we're at 26 people confirmed. I've had 10 people drop just in the last week, one most recently this morning. They blame COVID, but we're having a destination wedding, so I highly doubt they had purchased flights, hotels, etc. yet. Frustrating, but oh well! They'll be missing out on a great party! Focusing this week on not getting too stressed and enjoying the experience. Congrats to all!

10/2. Im going crazy trying to get everything straight and not forget things. So many lists!

10/2 here too! Covid has complicated a lot of planning (including last minute cancellations), but it’s going to be a great time regardless!

I am. 10/02. I took off work this week to complete minor things such as packing my suitcase for overnight and honeymoon, finalizing dinner rehearsal menu, hair and nails appointment etc

I feel your struggle; we invited 110 and only 63 are attending. We know the pandemic and it's ongoing effects continue to be on the forefront for those to make such challenging decisions. We embraced it and found a silver lining - - saving some money and invited everyone we wanted to invite.
