Getting married this Fridayyyyyyyy 9/17/2021!!!

My fiancé and I are getting Married this Saturday Sept 18th after a very long engagement, 4 years and dating for 5 years before that! 9 years in the making! We are both excited but nervous. A good percentage of our quests have Covid due to a camping trip they all planned. 2 of them were supposed to marry us, so we are in the process of formulating a new plan with. JP, BUT we are not allowing this to ruin our day! We decided to get married during this pandemic and deal with any fallout from it. That’s life anyway. It sucks but at least we don’t have Covid!

My wedding is on 9/18/21 (this Saturday)! Finally the time has come and I am marrying my best friend! This week is full of craziness! I work Monday and Tuesday and then I am off to start getting ready for the week to come! I speak to the last 2 of my vendors this week (transportation and DJ) and I am also picking up all of my signs from the sign lady! Thursday I have my nail appointment and Friday I am at the venue all day putting together the ceremony and reception. Friday night is the rehearsal dinner and Saturday morning the groom and I are sneaking off for a breakfast alone together before the big day.

Getting married on Friday! Busy finishing up last minute details.

We are getting married Friday!! So much to do and no where near ready! My FH works for a utility company in an area that was hit by IDA so we haven’t even seen each other in a couple weeks due to his long hours so I’ve been doing all the last minute things alone and it’s sooo stressful! On top of that I have severe social anxiety and am dreading the walk down the aisle! It’s almost here! If I here one more person remind me I’m gonna lose it 😆

Unfortunately due to the caldor fire up in south lake tahoe area we have had to cancel our wedding and postpone it. which is a super bummer. so we are thinking of a new date right now to look forward too.

Getting married Sunday and can’t believe its this week!!!!! Running around doing last minute things. Can’t wait to celebrate and finally be done with planning. Don’t get me wrong we had a great time but man has it been stressful!

I am getting married on Sunday 9/19! Very excited and can't wait for it to get here!

Getting married on Saturday and just found out my grandmother will not be attending due to health reasons. I am beyond devastated after holding out hope she would get to be there and that her chronic pain could be temporarily remedied (through medical means) enough to allow her to attend. While everything else is really exciting and I am feeling extremely prepared, I really couldn't and didn't imagine that this day would happen without her there.

Has anyone else had to deal with news like this? Any advice on how to keep on pushing?

So sorry Jessica, I understand your issue. My daughter can't come because she's about a two hour plane ride away and her severe anxiety is getting in the way of boarding a plane especially with the Covid spikes. I was broken over it, but since I can't change it I've come to terms with it. We plan on going down there and celebrating together with a mini trip with just her to take photos with her in her bridesmaid dress. Maybe you can do the same with your Gram? Can you visit her after the wedding in your wedding dress with your FH and take pictures? This would be technically on the day of your Wedding and in this way she won't miss out on seeing you.

We're getting married on Sunday! Now we're just working on packing everything up for the trip out on Friday, and checking the weather every ten minutes! Congratulations everybody!

We are getting married this Friday. Finishing up making my chocolate favors and realized last night I lost my cut out for my center pieces. Had a Mini break down but I rather know now when I can make time to cut them vs Thursday during set up. Hakuna Matata ( it means no worries) lol disney themed wedding here
