Who’s getting married this week? (10/26/20-11/1/20)

We are still a go for 10/31...most the big items are in place and I'm just working on the last minute details now. Congrats to the rest of the couples getting married this week! We made it!

Sunday 11/1 for me!!!!!

Sunday 11/1 for me as well! We are so excited although our micro wedding is getting smaller and smaller as COVID rates keep rising in our city.. My parents and sisters will be there no matter what, but FH’s sister and mom may not come which is breaking his heart.

10/31. We tested our technology yesterday, since most of our guests are now remote (from states that are on our state's mandatory 14-day quarantine list). My family is quarantining at home before they head here, since travel between our states is still ok. I need to make the backdrop to hide the weird dog thing the previous owner built, make my bouquet, get food orders, and finish some of the table flowers (I'm taking a half day Thursday and all of Friday off for these things, and FH is taking Friday off to help however he can). Cat and toddler means that I have to box everything up when I'm not working on it 😅

Still a go for 10/31, final touches and plans- NERVOUS! Congrats to all the brides!!

Getting married on 10/31. Picking up my dress tomorrow and packing all week as we’re doing a destination elopement/micro-wedding thing with just bridal party and dates (nobody from my family lives close enough to come, sadly, so we had to exclude family). We’re getting married at the base of a waterfall in upstate NY.

11/01 over here!!! So excited to finally make this day happen (this was the 3rd time we rescheduled!!)

11/1 for me! We are still a go! This was very last minute, less than a month to plan! We have been so busy, but are down to the last details for decor and bridal party bouquets but will have it done! Congratulations everyone! I hope you all have a magical wedding day!

We're supposed to be getting married 10/31 but my fiancé's grandma was diagnosed with Covid last week and has taken a turn for the worst. She's on oxygen and the prognosis isn't good. She will most likely pass away this week. Obviously, her life and getting to say goodbye to her is more important than a wedding so we cancel if it comes to it. I feel helpless when it comes to finding the silver lining.

10/30 for me! It’s going to be ceremony and one hour cocktail hour. It’s going to be smaller and more simple. Definitely cost saving without the full reception. We still going to make it as pretty as much as possible. We kept all our vendors from our original 8/8 date, ended up with a new and even better photographer.

FINALLY!! The day is coming up so fast!! October 31 here!! So excited!! Just finishing up little projects and getting marriage license today!! Whoo!!! Congratulations to the wonderful couples getting married this week!!!

Congrats to all the brides getting married on 10/31! This was my original date. I got married on 10/17/20. Im probably the only bride in 2020 that moved her date up lol. Best wishes for an amazing day.

10/31 for me. Most of the pieces are falling into place. I've got all the baking and food prep ahead of me, making cupcakes and buttercream, as well as regular and dessert cheeseballs. I still have to try on my dress and see if the 'Covid 19' I gained in April is gonna be a problem..... and I just realized that we hadn't picked up the license yet, because we've been so busy with family member's cancer treatments. I'm alternating between 'just keep swimming' and laughing maniacally in my head......

Still on for 10/31 here! We didn't know for a long time if we can still have it so I didn't plan anything. We actually got legally married on our anniversary 9/21 because we made arrangements before we got the go ahead. It has been so stressful trying to do everything in such a short amount of time, I've been taking a xanax cocktail a few times a week. I cannot wait for it to come and go, honestly. It has done nothing but cause problems with people; with grandmother being not so nice, me being strong-armed to inviting children and my MIL having problems with the seating arrangements I worked so hard to figure out so everyone can have a good time. Nonetheless, I hope it is fun, and people remember it fondly as a large Halloween party (they're welcome in costumes.)

Edit: a week before the wedding itself, my husband got fired (ultimatum from a tenured employee that didn't like him for some reason), and our photographer broke his wrist and we were assigned a new one that does not appeal to me as much. We were going to take photos at one park, turns out we need a permit, so we changed every single thing around to go to another one.

So far so good...4 days to go 10/31...rehearsal and everything is all set...last minute pick up items have been arranged. Last day of work is tomorrow until I'm a married woman🎃💝❤💍
