Wholesale Flowers

Rachel, on March 22, 2021 at 11:23 AM Posted in North Carolina Planning 0 4

Does anyone have an experience getting their flowers from a wholesale vendor or any vendors outside of a florist? I am trying my best to save money and stay within but not skimp on quality or want my florals to look cheap

I have heard of brides getting their flowers from their local Famer's Market and making their own bouquets. Only issue with this is you have to settle for whatever fresh flowers are available the weekend of your wedding.

You can pick up flowers at a farmer's market, Trader Joes, or certain grocery stores and co-ops, but there will be no guarantee about the quantity, quality, color, or type of flowers that will be available and fresh for your wedding. If you are only looking for minimal florals (bouquet and some bud vases around tables), this approach may work but you are unlikely to be able to source enough flowers this way if you want a lot of flowers and a cohesive look.

I've also heard great things about flowers from Sam's Club, Costco, and Fifty Flowers!

Where to buy wholesale bulk flowers?

My "florist" is actually a high school agriculture/floral design teacher (cutting corners where I can!), and she's ordering from Fifty Flowers!
